birthday weekend

what a great break i had! ever since starting the new posting...
so nice to be not working over my birthday weekend!

last friday- we went to choose my wedding and evening gown! despite D2's glitch at work and really really bad traffic.... i managed to confirm my gowns within 1.5 hours! and amazingly, it was the first gown i wore that i really liked and eventually confirmed.... which was good cos i really wanted my evening gown to be MTM (made-to measure!)....

and today i got my new silver 3.5 inches high wedding shoes from metro paragon! this was after walking around 313 somerset, ion, isetan, tangs, taka....wow...and used my instantly redeemable shopping voucher and bought it at a really good price of $49.90 (after using my $50 voucher)...so happy with it.... you can't imagine the headache i always have shopping for normal shoes given the deformities... and was so glad for a pair that actually looked nice and i could walk comfortably in!

mom is finally accepting the news of our upcoming nuptials and i dare say she is even getting just a little excited over it... she dug up all her relatives' names in full so we could write the invites (but i told her...mom, not yet la!) and my precious diamond ring could finally sit in its rightful place ....

need to settle photography and videography soon though....hopefully by end of this year. it's such a subjective thing and with such varied prices, keeping in mind our budgets... i'm keeping fingers crossed. thanks to all who gave their recommendations!
